Adult Basic Education
The goal of this program is to improve reading, math, and language skills for entry into Adult High School, GED credentialing, College curriculum programs or simply to improve skills for personal satisfaction.
The program is FREE and enrollment is open to individuals age 18 and older.
Under special circumstances, underage students ages 16 - 17 may enroll in certain programs as indicated in each program's information section.
Placement testing is required for entry.
The program provides instruction in the basic skills areas of:
- reading
- writing
- math
- computing
- money managing
- problem-solving
This program is designed to prepare students for entry into either the Adult High School program or the GED Preparation program. Adult Basic Education is available at no charge to adults 18 years of age or older. Underage students (ages 16 and 17) may be enrolled under special circumstances.
