If you desire to enter a particular program of study, there may be many reasons why you may not be accepted to pursue that program. You may; however, be accepted for admission to an alternate program. This may involve admission to:
- another program of study,
- developmental courses,
- individualized programmed instruction, or
- a combination of these approaches designed to help you overcome academic limitations.
In certain instances when it is in your best interest and is deemed educationally feasible, you may be granted tentative acceptance for admission and be permitted to register without immediately meeting full admission requirements. Tentative acceptance for admission is valid for only one semester. During this semester, all pertinent admissions documents must be received and you must complete all steps for full acceptance in order to register for the second semester.
