| This course introduces the student to infection and hazard control procedures necessary for the healthcare worker. Topics include introduction to microbiology, practical infection control, sterilization and monitoring, chemical disinfectants, aseptic technique, infectious diseases, OSHA standards, applicable North Carolina laws.
