| This course provides an in-depth introduction to melody, rhythm, and harmony. Emphasis is placed on fundamental melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic analysis, introduction to part writing, ear-training, and sight-singing. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate proficiency in the recognition and application of the above. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement premajor and/or elective course requirement. | |||||
