Thank you for visiting the Johnston Community College Web site! As you can see, there is a lot going on at JCC. We are certainly a “college on the move!” Please take your time and spend a few cyber minutes with us learning about all the different opportunities available to you.

JCC has a long history of innovation in meeting the educational needs of local citizens. For example, the college operates the first Truck Driver Training School in the nation; by major gift from Mr. Rudolph Howell, owns and manages Howell Woods, a 2800 acre natural preserve that would rival any state park in North Carolina; facilitates various learning experiences through the JCC Arboretum; offers spectacular concerts via its renowned Performing Arts series of events; fields several men’s and women’s athletic teams; and is widely known for its quality curricular and Community Development & Lifelong Learning programs. But don’t take my word for it. We would be honored if you became a part of the activities here and experienced, firsthand, the wonderful adventures Johnston Community College has to offer.
