Tuition and Fees
The NC Truck Driver Training School is approved and governed by the NC Community College System. Tuition is set by the NC Legislature for in-state and out-of-state residents and is subject to change without notice. The cost of the course is the total of the tuition, which is based on a rate per credit hours, plus other applicable fees applied.
Tuition and fees are due in full at registration, usually a week after orientation, and are payable by certified check, money order, credit or debit cards (Visa or MasterCard), or cash.

Lab Fee - $38.00
- Each student must pay this fee for a drug screen test to the school's designated lab at registration; lab will accept cash or money order only.
DMV Driving Record Retrieval Fee - $8.00
- If you have not obtained your DMV record by the orientation date, please bring additional $8 cash with you to submit to school official; we will retrieve your DMV record on your behalf.
The truck driver training course qualifies for Veterans educational benefits, military tuition assistance and some job training programs. Contact local agencies to determine your eligibility. Truck Driver Training does not qualify for federal financial aid or PELL grants. Additional information is available from the Financial Aid Office.
