Notary Public

This-six hour class is required for people who wish to apply through the NC Secretary of State’s Office to become commissioned. A minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 students will be accepted.

Participants must present a valid picture ID prior to entering class. Attendees
must have a GED or Diploma in order to obtain a Notary commission and be at least 18 years of age.

Due to mandated course hour requirements, participants arriving 20 minutes
late will not be permitted into the class.

Notary Public Guidebook for North Carolina, Tenth Edition, 2006, ISBN 978-1-56011-480-2 is available at the JCC Bookstore.
(Prepaid registration and book are required.)
