The PALS course is for healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies. Recognition and treatment of infants and children at risk for cardio-pulmonary arrest utilizing a systematic approach to pediatric assessment is the focus of this course. Target Audience: The primary target audience for this course is pediatricians, emergency physicians, family physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies.
