Early and Middle Colleges High School Pathways

Cooperative Innovative High School Programs are located on Johnston Community College's campus and provide opportunities for students to complete an asso­ciate's degree within five years. Eligibility requirements for Cooperative In­novative High School Programs are established jointly by the local board of education and local board of trustees.

Johnston County MIddle College High

The Johnston County Middle College High school opened in 2005 as a partnership high school between Johnston Community College and Johnston County Schools. This partnership high school affords students in grades 11-12 the opportunity to complete their high school graduation requirements while simultaneously building a college transcript. Students who want to attend this nontraditional high school must complete an application for admission.

Johnston County Early College Academy

The Johnston County Early College Academy opened in the Fall of 2008 as a second partnership high school between Johnston Community College and Johnston County Schools. This five-year high school focuses on accelerated opportunities for beginning ninth grade students to complete their high school diploma and a college transfer degree. Each year, 50 students are selected for this educational journey.
