Nurse Aide Certification
Certified nursing assistants (CNAs) are important healthcare providers who support
patients with daily activities and supply routine care such as assessing temperatures,
pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, activities of daily living and providing nursing
assistant procedures. Supervised by a registered nurse or license practical nurse,
CNAs are commonly referred to as the "eyes and ears" of the nurse because they spend
more time observing and interacting with patients.
This training provides insight into patient care that will prove invaluable as you pursue your nursing, sonography or health sciences career. Another common term for CNA is Nurse Aide I.
