Real Estate Program

Johnston Community College supports the NC Real Estate Commission’s education programs and is an approved school to teach Pre-licensing, Post-licensing, and Continuing Education Real Estate classes.

Real Estate Pre-Licensing

JCC will be offering the Pre-licensing class every fall semester. **Class start date has changed.

Pre-requisite for enrollment in Real Estate Pre-Licensing:
Participants will be required to obtain a Career Readiness Certificate to be eligible to enroll in this course. Testing needs to be done in advance and Registration is required 5 days before class begins. This requirement can be completed by taking the three ACT WorkKeys Assessment tests for the three subject areas listed below. A certificate or proof of levels completed must be presented at the time of registration.

For sample questions go to Act.org, click on WorkKeys, go to Practice Tests, go to Sample Questions and click on Applied Mathematics, Reading for Information, and Locating Information. If additional study is needed, a program of pre- and  post-training is available through the Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) Test Prep class. It is our desire that all students have successful completion of their goals.
