Real Estate Program
Johnston Community College supports the NC Real Estate Commission’s education programs and is an approved school to teach Pre-licensing, Post-licensing, and Continuing Education Real Estate classes.
Pre-requisite for enrollment in Real Estate Pre-Licensing:
For sample questions go to Act.org, click on WorkKeys, go to Practice Tests, go to Sample Questions and click on Applied Mathematics, Reading for Information, and Locating Information. If additional study is needed, a program of pre- and post-training is available through the Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) Test Prep class. It is our desire that all students have successful completion of their goals.
Reading for Information - Level 5
Real Estate Broker Pre-Licensing
Participants are required to obtain a Career Readiness Certificate to be eligible to enroll in this course. This requirement can be completed by taking the three ACT WorkKeys Assessment tests for the three subject areas: Reading for Information, Applied Mathematics, and Locating Information. A certificate or proof of levels completed must be presented at the time of registration with scores of Reading for Information - Level 5; Applied Mathematics - Level 5; Locating Information - Level 4.
