The following classes are designed to partially fulfill the remaining hours needed to follow Plan A of the Teacher Assistant Certificate program or to fill Teacher Renewal Credit hours.

Effective Teacher Training for Substitutes

Would you like to be a substitute in the public schools, but you’ve never had training? This course provides training in presentation skills, learning expectations, monitoring student interactions, social interactions, and time management.
Pre-registration five days before the beginning of the class is required.
Class is limited to 18 people.
