What is the CRC?The Career Readiness Certification is a portable credential that promotes career development and skill attainment for the individual, and confirms to employers that an individual possesses basic workplace skills in reading, applied math, and locating information - essential skills required by the vast majority of jobs today.

Career Readiness Certificate levels and employability:
- Bronze - Core employability skills for approximately 30% of all jobs.
- Silver - Core employability skills for approximately 65% of all jobs.
- Gold - Core employability skills approximately 90% of all jobs.

Making the Most of Your Job Skills! – 24 Hours
Individuals will set goals and a training plan in order to achieve their Career Readiness Certificate. Instruction is designed to be self-paced, self-designed using KeyTrain, a computer-based program that teaches the skills employers most want. An instructor will be available for assistance and guidance with employability skills. *Class fee may be waived if financial eligibility requirements are met (unemployed, underemployed, received notice of a layoff).
