Vision

The vision of the Johnston Community College Alumni Association is to connect a strong network of JCC alumni and community partners to engage in mutually beneficial experiences that promote personal and professional growth and success. Members of the Alumni Association will unite to demonstrate Jaguar pride by participating in service projects, networking engagements, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising campaigns that will promote the mission of Johnston Community College.

Mission

The mission of the Johnston Community College Alumni Association is to build life-long relationships between alumni members of the Jaguar family and the JCC community by giving back time, talent, and treasure to support the mission of the College and its constituents while enhancing the alumni experience.

Goals

Build Awareness:

  • Encourage all your family and friends that attended JCC to join you and become a member of the Alumni Association by following the steps listed at www.johnstoncc.edu/alumni
    • Like and Follow Johnston Community College Foundation on Facebook and share our posts using #JCCPROUD.
    • Visit the Alumni page to stay in-the-know with the Alumni Association, and review the JCC homepage for college news, updates, and athletic events.

Make Connections:

  • Connect with unfamiliar faces and reconnect with old friends while networking with professionals from various industries, and a wide array of personal and educational experiences.
    • Build relationships, learn new skills, develop professional and grow personally.
    • Your success is our success so build relationships with Alumni Association members, JCC faculty, staff, students, and community partners to support you as you pursue the next steps in your personal and professional life.

Give Back: 

  • Support JCC with your time, talent, and treasure.
    • Spend time volunteering to help out with JCC efforts.
    • Cheer on the Jaguars during athletic and academic competitions and attend social events.
    • Offer your talent by sharing your experiences, skills and expertise while serving as an advisor and mentor.
    • Invest your treasure and participate in Foundation fundraising campaigns to support the growth and progression of JCC. Giving back is fun and fulfilling – the true epitome of Jaguar pride!
