This course offers a comprehensive introduction to this high-demand field. You’ll learn about the profession, academic and clinical expectations, medical terminology, ethics, ultrasound history, specialties, and the vital role sonographers play in patient care. By the end, you’ll understand the clinical role of a sonographer and the many uses of diagnostic ultrasound.
