Once successfully completing both Massage I & Massage II, you will be able to sit for the Massage & Bodywork Licensure Exam (MBLEX).
With both Massage I & II certificates and a PASS score on the MBLEX, you may apply for a North Carolina license.

How to Get Started
You do not need to be a JCC student to take these courses, but you will need to apply and be accepted to this program to be able to register. All students MUST register at least 5 days prior to the class start date.
Attend the Mandatory Orientation session.
You will need a valid email address for pre-registration and correspondence. If you are already a student of JCC, use your JCC Email address.
The following documents are required with your application.
Proof of High School Diploma/GED (Official Transcript must be sent to the Registrar.)
Proof of Age - Must be 18 years or older (If an official high school transcript is on file with the Registrar then no additional documents are needed.)
Two (2) Moral Character References (PDF) - email to address on form.
Demonstrate satisfactory proof of proficiency in the English language.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Scores: minimum acceptable TOEFL score is 550 (5-year limit on scores).
If you graduated from a high school in the United States TOEFL scores are not required.
Or attend the course English as a Second Language (ESL)
Background Check/Drug Screen, Completed Physical Form, Immunizations, AHA CPR
Purchase uniform, supplies and textbooks
Uniforms must be worn at all times.
Receive two one-hour massages for field study and submit massage documentation forms
