Program Overview

Do you want to get better at your job, start a new career, or just learn something new? Johnston Community College (JCC) offers hundreds of online classes through ed2go that can help you do just that. You can take these classes from home, on your own schedule.

There are two types of programs:

Short Courses

These are 6-week classes that start every month. They help you improve your personal or professional skills.

    Credit or Debit Card
After you submit your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with payment instructions.

    Cash
You can pay in person at the JCC campus cashier’s office in the Wilson Building.

Make sure your payment is made on time, or you won’t be able to start your class.

Earning Credit and a Certificate

To earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and a Certificate of Completion, you must:

  • Finish the first quiz before the census date (usually 6 days before your class ends).

  • Complete the course and pass the final exam with at least 70% for regular courses

These records can help show employers your skills and dedication.
