Real Estate Pre-Licensing

Program Overview

Our Real Estate Pre-Licensing Course at Johnston Community College (JCC) is officially approved by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission (NCREC) to fulfill the educational requirements necessary for obtaining a broker license.

Requirements

  • Strong reading comprehension
  • Proficient in Math Skills
  • Basic Computer Literacy
  • Must attend at least 80% of the classes

Your course fee includes the "Principles of Real Estate Practice in North Carolina, 3rd Edition" e-book, seamlessly integrated into our course software. While a physical copy of the textbook is optional, many students find it beneficial for offline study.

The Real Estate Pre-Licensing course is offered as a self-supporting course. Self-supporting courses are not eligible for a refund as these programs are funded by registration fees collected. Students are eligible for a 100-percent refund if the classes are cancelled by the College.
