North Carolina Truck Driver Training School
Tuition and Fees
The NC Truck Driver Training School is approved and governed by the NC Community College System. Tuition is set by the NC Legislature for in-state and out-of-state residents and is subject to change without notice.
The cost of the course is the total of the tuition, which is based on a rate per credit hours, plus other applicable fees applied.
Tuition and fees are typically due in full by the Wednesday before the first day of class, and can be made by cash, credit/debit cards, check (Payable to Johnston Community College), or through the online cashier..
Handbooks are purchased separately through the JCC Bookstore on campus. Payment can be made by cash, credit/debit, check, in person or online.

Financial Aid
The truck driver training course qualifies for Veterans educational benefits, military tuition assistance and some job training programs. Contact local agencies to determine your eligibility.

Truck Driver Training does not qualify for federal financial aid or PELL grants.
